Hacked? Full details of Real Madrid’s tweet welcoming Lionel Messi

Real Madrid’s Twitter account appeared to have been hacked after the La Liga giants sent out a tweet ‘welcoming’ Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi to the club.

Madrid sent out a tweet at 05:30am announcing the capture of Messi from Barcelona but it was swiftly deleted.

Barcelona’s Twitter account was hacked last week when hackers sent out a tweet ‘confirming’ the signing of Angel Di Maria from Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain came as a huge surprise but any move for Messi to the Bernabeu would be the biggest deal of all-time.

Thankfully for Barcelona fans, Madrid’s Twitter account appeared to be hacked…
